President Obama Serves as Groomsman in Chief at Aide's Wedding

Obama jetted down to Florida to serve as a groomsman to Marvin Nicholson, the White House trip director, who married Helen Pajcic, a former staffer.

Obama jetted down to Florida to serve as a groomsman to Marvin Nicholson, the White House trip director, who married Helen Pajcic, a former staffer in the administration.

The wedding was held at a private residence in Jacksonville.

The bride also is the daughter of Steve Pajcic, a Democratic fundraiser, The Washington Post reported.

Photos of the black-tie event sprouted on social media, with Obama looking dapper in a tux, and Secretary of State John Kerry presiding over the ceremony.

The president had no date for the wedding, but was accompanied by aides and Secret Service agents, who were also outfitted in tuxedos.
