The reaction was fast and furious.

“You have no idea what real hard work is!" one user exclaimed.

"Don’t flatter yourself,” wrote another.

"You are not the hardest working woman ever lmao try going to 3rd world country's or even DOWN THE DAMN STREET and then you'll see what an actual hard working woman is. Smh all you gotta do is squint your eyes and sing," another person said.

But others have come to her defense.

“Since when is it wrong to pat yourself on the back," wrote one supporter.

“Just leave Ariana alone,” was another comment.

This isn't the first time the pop star's maturity has been called into question.

In 2015, she caused uproar after being caught on surveillance video licking a donut at a bakery in California.

In another incident, she was accused of making mean-spirited comments about the country, saying: “I hate America. I hate Americans.” She later apologized.

No word has been heard yet from the star about her latest public blunder.
