Four strangers rushed to save a driver whose car had become stuck on snow-covered tracks as a commuter train fast approached.
Overhead video shot by Portland, Oregon, TV station KATU shows a red Mustang trapped on the light rail crossing covered in snow and ice.
As the car’s wheels spin, four men come running, at least one of whom jumped from his own vehicle, and begin pushing and rocking the back of the Mustang.
“Rear-wheel drive, real low sports car, yeah, probably not the best to be on these kinds of roads,” witness Andrew Rasmussen told the station.
The rescuers freed the vehicle about 10 to 15 seconds before the train rolled in, he said.
No one was hurt.
The good Samaritans went on their way and the car drove off, the video shows. The footage has gone viral on social media, garnering more than 4.4 million views.
