Gaga was an outspoken supporter of Hillary Clinton during last year’s presidential campaign and after Trump's victory, she was still fighting as she defiantly stood on a sanitation truck outside Trump Tower.

Gaga arrived in Houston, Texas, Monday to prepare for her big halftime show. Many have speculated that her appearance could be used to deliver a political message.

Gaga’s friend and past collaborator, Beyonce, made such a statement during last year’s halftime show as a guest of Coldplay. Beyonce debuted her song "Formation," which contains themes of police brutality.

As she rehearses inside NRG Stadium, the "Bad Romance" singer is said to be using every inch of the stage for the 12-minute performance. There are even rumors she will perform on the roof.

But the pressure of such a high-profile gig is clearly not getting to Gaga, as she's been seen goofing off with her mom, and doing cartwheels in the end zone between rehearsals.

Chicago Fire star Holly Robinson Peete is among those who believe Gaga will make the Super Bowl her own soapbox.

"I am sure she will [make a statement]," Robinson Peete told Inside Edition. "That is Gaga-esque. She is not shy. I am sure the NFL knew when they were hiring someone who is not afraid to express how she feels."
