The two met on Craigslist.

A woman in Washington state has been arrested after she allegedly stabbed her date in a motel room and attempting to eat his heart after declaring "I am a serial killer," police said.

Lynnwood police arrested Amy Brown, 24, after she reportedly began stabbing the man, whom she met through Craigslist, on Sunday.

The victim told police that Brown had asked him several times whether he was a serial killer, to which he responded that he wasn’t.

He said Brown then climbed on top of him and said, “Well, I’m a serial killer,” grabbed a pocket knife and plunged the blade into the man, police said.

The victim was able to escape to a nearby Walgreens where employees called police, according to a report.

The victim suffered stab wounds to the chest, but his lungs were not harmed, contrary to earlier reports, police told InsideEdition.com.

Brown reportedly told police that she wanted to be a serial killer and had written a note that she was to leave on the man’s body that indicated she planned to kill again, cops said.

She added that she also planned to eat the man's heart, according to reports.

In court, a judge ordered her held on $1 million bail Tuesday.
