Mariah Carey has returned to TV, performing live for the first time since her cringe-worthy New Year’s Eve fiasco.

The pop superstar sang on Jimmy Kimmel Wednesday night, performing her new single, "I Don’t," with rapper YG.

There was no sit-down interview with Kimmel as Carey let her music do the talking and the response from critics was positive.

The singer got rave reviews, with the New York Daily News called it a “strong performance" that "proceeded in perfect harmony."

The Daily Mail said: "Mariah Carey makes a triumphant return."
