They have since been apprehended.
Two cows were really milking their escape from a Connecticut farm as they went from door to door in a nearby neighborhood.
Police said a Suffield resident called authorities on Sunday morning to report the cows after being "udderly" surprised to find them at her front door.

“Early this morning officers responded to a complaint of 2 suspicious males going door to door trying to sell dairy products,” Suffield Police wrote on Facebook. “Officers determined that the 2 individuals did not have a solicitor's permit and were apprehended after a short foot pursuit.”
Police said the two bandits escaped through a faulty electric fence at a nearby farm and began visiting their neighbors.

Police made light of the escape on a post that has now gone viral on social media.
“We would like to remind everyone to NEVER open your doors to any unfamiliar cattle,” the post read.
