In a trailer that debuted over the weekend, the network teased an upcoming series called The President Show featuring Donald Trump impersonator Anthony Atamanuik as the commander-in-chief and Peter Grosz as his sidekick, Vice President Mike Pence.

"Comedy Central begged me to do this show," Atamanuik, as Trump, says in a promo for the show. "Failing Comedy Central begged me."

The weekly show will debut April 27 and air Thursday nights following The Daily Show With Trevor Noah.

"Laughing at the president is a proud American tradition and we hope not to disappoint anyone in that department," Atamanuik told Deadline.com. "But our political system is too broken for us to be content joking about one man, even though he is a disastrous silly little toddler boy. Mostly I’d just like to thank Comedy Central for giving us this platform to speak truth to power and if we’re lucky, end up in prison!"

A Twitter account for the show was set up at the end of March and since the announcement of the series, @LateNightDonald has been tweeting around the clock.

I can’t watch the Daily Show, Last Week Tonight, James Corden, OR The Bee Woman show because I’d be taking work away from an AMERICAN HOST.

I would never say that @PresidentShow will be the only good late night show on television, but that’s just what people are saying.
