Woman Falls While Snapping a Selfie on California's Tallest Bridge

Somehow, she survived the fall off the Forest Hill Bridge in Sacramento.

A woman taking a selfie on the catwalk of the Forest Hill Bridge in Sacramento slipped and fell 60 feet, a fall that could have killed her.

Miraculously, the unidentified woman survived the fall from California’s tallest bridge. At its highest point, the bridge stands 730-foot tall and the view below is stunning.

Despite signs warning trespassers to stay away, the bridge has become a magnet for those seeking the ultimate photo for their social media pages.

And there are dozens of pictures of people who have posed on the bridge. Additionally, YouTube is filled with videos of people climbing the bridge to take pictures.

One hundred victims have lost their lives from either jumping or falling from the bridge since it opened in 1973.

Placer County Sheriff's Department Lt. Troy Sander told Inside Edition: "Bottom line, if you want that extreme selfie to be the last thing your family sees of you or knows of you, then make that bad decision."
