President Obama's half-sister denounces Donald Trump's birther questions and says the President was indeed born in Hawaii. Meanwhile, Bill Cosby engages in a war of words with Trump over the issue. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
President Obama's younger sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng is now speaking out about where he was born. She says he was born in Hawaii and there is a tremendous amount of proof.
Soetoro-Ng is promoting her new book "Ladder to the Moon," which is dedicated to their mother, Ann Dunham.
On Tuesday's Piers Morgan Tonight, she commented on the birth certificate controversy being raised by Donald Trump: "I think it's a shame. I think my brother should be President for a second term."
Trump is striking back again but this time his target is Bill Cosby, who made this comment on the Today show: "He's full of it. You run or shut up. The only thing he's running is his mouth."
Trump released this blistering statement after Cosby blasted him on the Today show: "I was surprised to hear him blabber... The hatred was pouring out of his eyes when he said this... Actually, based on the way he acted, things are not looking too good for Cosby."
Trump said of Cosby: "I wish he would be more honest ... He doesn't want me to run because he's obviously an Obama fan ... Sadly, he got more attention talking about me than he did on the merits of his own appearance. Maybe he is not as dumb as I thought."
Cosby just shook his head when INSIDE EDITION's Les Trent asked him about Trump at 2011 TV Land Awards.
But The Cosby Show co-stars Tempestt Bledsoe and Phylicia Rashad weighed in about Trump's so-called "birther" campaign aimed at the President.
"Donald wants people to talk about him and that's what we're doing. It's unfortunate that we're doing it because of this silly issue," Bledsoe said.
"I don't think he really cares, I think he just wants to be president," said Rashad.
