Playing Cops Help Teen Ask Girl to Prom With Fake Arrest: 'Say Yes or You're Under Arrest'

A local police department in Georgia helped a local high school student ask a girl to prom with a fake arrest.

Dashcam video posted to Facebook shows officers from the Peachtree City Police Department "pulling over" the two teens. The officer said he was pulling them over because a "decal was obstructing the tag."

"Have you ever been stopped before in this truck,” the officer asks in the video. “Do you have any siblings? Do you ever let friends drive the truck?”

He then asks the teen and the girl to step out of the truck as they search the vehicle. They then place handcuffs on the boy.

Then the officer comes back with bags of what he suggests may be marijuana.

Both teens deny the drugs are theirs, so the officer hands a bag containing a slip of paper to the girl and asks, "Does that look like weed to you?"

The girl, who looked scared the throughout the entire video, finally smiles.

“Oh my God, this is not funny,” she says, clearly relieved.

Her beau then brings out a sign that reads, "Prom? Say yes or you’re under arrest!"

Thankfully, the pair will be going to prom, not prison.
