Fox News' Jesse Watters Under Fire for 'Sexually Charged' Remark About Ivanka Trump

Watters claims he meant no disrespect. He's now on vacation.

Trouble may be brewing for Fox News personality Jesse Watters after he made what some say was a lewd joke about Ivanka Trump while on the air.

Watters' comment came Tuesday as he and the rest of the hosts of The Five were discussing the first daughter's appearance at a panel about female entrepreneurship in Berlin, Germany.

“It’s funny. The left says they really respect women, and then when given an opportunity to respect a woman like that, they boo and hiss,” he said. “So I don’t really get what’s going on here, but I really liked how she was speaking into that microphone.”

The remark, which some saw as crude, lit up social media.

Attorney Lisa Bloom tweeted: “We're watching how you demean women. We brought [Bill] O'Reilly down. Maybe you should be next.”

Watters claims he meant no disrespect, saying: “On air I was referring to Ivanka's voice and how it resonates like a smooth jazz radio DJ. This was in no way a joke about anything else.”

Watters didn't speak about the controversy Wednesday night but made the announcement that he was going on vacation.

"I’m going to be taking a vacation with my family, so I’m not going to be here tomorrow and Friday," he said. "But I’ll be back on Monday, so try not to miss me too much."

Some viewers are wondering if "vacation" is code for "suspension.” After all, it is the first week his show slipped into Fox News's primetime lineup in the wake of the Bill O'Reilly shakeup.

Meanwhile, Kellyanne Conway may be moving into a new Washington D.C., home.

The White House counselor has reportedly purchased an eight-bedroom mansion for $8 million. It boasts a marble foyer with curved stair case, gourmet chef's kitchen and wood-paneled library.

Ironically, Hillary Clinton's Washington pad is in the same neighborhood.
