Double Trouble! NYPD Pulls Over Twin Toddlers in Toy Car for Driving 'Over the Cute Limit'

Aaron and Evan, 2, were taking their nightly drive in a miniature Range Rover when the NYPD happened to pull them over.

It wasn’t quite a routine traffic stop as twin tots were pulled over by the NYPD while driving their kid-sized Range Rover in Manhattan.

Aaron and Evan, 2, were pulled over Sunday night for driving “over the cute limit,” their dad Alex told InsideEdition.com.

He said he was taking his twins out for their routine “drive” around the block when two curious police officers happened to pull up, and ask about the car.

Alex then asked if they could have a picture together, when the two officers decided to pull out all the stops.

“They turned the lights on and made the whole big deal like they were going to pull them over,” Alex explained. “Everybody’s like, ‘what’s going on?’ They were stopping traffic, busses.”

The twins didn’t seem to find the humor in the commotion either when they could be seen in videos posted to Alex’ Instagram reluctantly accepting the ticket.

“They’re in total shock, they didn’t know what was going on, especially with the lights and everybody looking at them,” Alex laughed.

Their dad, who is a car fanatic himself, explained that before the miniature Range Rover he got them two weeks ago, Aaron and Evan had matching kid-sized Lamborghinis.

“We live in an apartment and to bring both down was such a hassle,” he explained. “With the Range [Rover] they both fit in it perfectly and [Evan] doesn’t mind letting Aaron drive.”
