Rescue pups at the Edmonton Humane Society in Alberta, Canada, celebrated the shelter’s 110th anniversary over the weekend by nose-diving into some dog-friendly cake.

“Our pups loved it,” the shelter said in a Facebook post.

But perhaps even sweeter than the cake is the fact that each of the dogs that participated in the cake smash was adopted on the same day.

One of them, Luna, was photographed by her new owner completely wiped after the event.
