Russell stars in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which opens Friday and Hawn appears alongside Amy Schumer in Snatched, which will premiere next week.

The couple has been together for 33 years, but never married.

Hawn even poked fun at their lack of formal nuptials.

“Can we just get married? We’ve never had a celebration like this before,” Hawn joked. “This means more to me as I start reflecting on things. I was a dancer and I carried my dancing shoes up here looking for an agent. I couldn’t find an agent, I found a fabulous dentist but I couldn’t find an agent.”

During the ceremony, Hawn and Russell were honored in speeches delivered by Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon and Quentin Tarantino.
