After Manchester Bombing, How You Can Stay Safe in the Event of an Arena Attack

As big stars like Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney, U2 and Justin Bieber prepare to take the stage in major arenas this summer, here's how you can be safe in the wake of the senseless terror bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England.

Security expert Bill Stanton offered tips to Inside Edition on what to do if such an event took place while you were inside an arena.

"The most important thing I can tell you, that time out, is take a look at where those exits are when you walk in," he said. "We are not going to go to that choke point where the herd is rushing and we can be possibly hurt again. We are going to go to a side exit where no one else is focused on."

Le Bataclan concert hall in Paris was the setting for an attack when Eagles of Death Metal performed inside the venue during the November 2015 terror strike on the city.

The boardwalk in Nice, France, and the Pulse nightclub in Orlando have all been hit in previous terror attacks.

Many of the children in Manchester had been dropped off by their parents for the Ariana Grande concert Monday night. They were waiting for the concert to end so they could pick up their kids when all hell broke loose.

"Parents should talk to their children: ‘This is where I am going to be. If for any reason something happens and we can’t be here, we are going to meet at this alternate location.’ Have your ‘A’ plan and have your ‘B’ plan," Stanton told Inside Edition.
