Leah Remini and Kevin James to Reunite on 'Kevin Can Wait' as TV Wife Erinn Hayes Is Fired

Leah Remini will officially join Season 2 of the show after a guest appearance in the first season's finale.

Kevin James and Leah Remini will reunite for his hit CBS series Kevin Can Wait.

Remini, who played James' wife on all nine seasons of The King of Queens, will assume a regular role on his latest sitcom's upcoming season following a guest-starring role in the first season's finale.

The news comes as James’ current onscreen wife, Erinn Hayes, has been fired from the show.

“True, I’ve been let go from the show. Very sad, I had a great experience season 1,” she tweeted Saturday.

But as Hayes exits the show, Remini is not believed to be a love interest.

”Dreams do come true,” she posted on Twitter in response to the news.
