The mother was identified late Thursday as Isabel Martinez, 33. Police said she was inside the home with the bodies of her husband, Martin Romero, 33, and the remains of the four children: Axel, 2, Dillan, 4, Dacota, 7, and Isabela, 10.

A sixth victim, 9-year-old Diana, was another of the couple's children. She was airlifted to Children's Health Care of Atlanta and was in serious condition.

Martinez was ordered held without bond. She was charged with five counts of murder, six counts of aggravated assault and five counts of "malice murder."

A motive in the stabbings has not been revealed, but a neighbor told reporters that the mother had been depressed in recent weeks following the death of her father.
