Madonna is seeking to stop the sale of the belongings in the bidding display.

Other items include a used hairbrush, with some strands of her hair still entangled, a love letter from ex-boyfriend, Tupac, and a bustier she donned on the cover of Like a Virgin.

"I understand that my DNA could be extracted from a piece of my hair," the singer said in a statement. "It is outrageous and grossly offensive that my DNA could be auctioned for sale to the general public."

The bustier came from Darlene Lutz, a woman who used to be close to Madonna.

Madonna says Lutz betrayed her trust and she never sold or gifted the bustier or any other items to Lutz.

Lutz says she legitimately owns the items.

Madonna has obtained a temporary injunction that blocks the auction. Lawyers for the auction house are trying to lift the order.
