Zookeepers cut into two cakes to discover the gender of two red pandas that were born at the Binghamton Zoo a few weeks ago.

The first cake, frosted with the words "Cub A," came out pink, while the second, frosted with the words "Cub B," came out blue.

Since neither cub has been named, the zoo is giving the public a chance to come up with some ideas.

"It’s great to get the community involved and help come up with names," said director Jackie Peeler.

The girl is still being monitored around-the-clock due to some health issues, but the boy is doing fine, zookeepers said.

Visitors can meet the cubs face-to-face when they go on display in the next few days.
