Security footage released by the national railway company PKP showed the harrowing incident that occurred in north Poland last month.

The car, driven by a 48-year-old woman, could be seen slamming through the barrier that warned a train was arriving.

The vehicle had slowed to a stop just past the tracks when moments later, a train came barreling through, clipping the back of the car.

No one was hurt in the accident, and all four passengers could be seen walking out of the vehicle to assess the damages.
