Harvey Weinstein's Wife Georgina Chapman Leaves Him Over His 'Unforgivable Actions'

Last week, Weinstein had claimed his wife was standing by him.

Harvey Weinstein’s wife is leaving him after 10 years of marriage.

Famed fashion designer Georgina Chapman made the announcement six days after the accusations of sexual assault first emerged.

"My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority,” she told People magazine.

Last week, Weinstein claimed his wife "stands 100 percent behind me."

Georgina's fashion line, Marchesa, is worn by some of the biggest names in Hollywood like Jennifer Lopez, Sandra Bullock and Felicity Huffman, who wore a gown by the designer in 2007 when she won a Golden Globe for Transamerica, which Weinstein produced.

Fashion insiders say the future of the fashion brand, which relies on celebrity red carpet photo ops, may now be in question.

"I think there are going to be many celebrities who are going to step away because they don't want to be connected in any way to a Weinstein name," fashion expert Alison Deyette told Inside Edition.
