Former Survivor Producer Is Suspect In His Wife's Death

A high-powered TV producer has been named suspect in the shocking death of his 42-year-old wife while the couple was vacationing in Cancun. INSIDE EDITION has the breaking story.

A former high powered producer of the popular reality show Survivor finds himself in real trouble with the law. Bruce Beresford-Redman has been named a suspect in the shocking death of his wife Monica.

The body of 42-year-old Monica was found in a sewer of the swanky Moon Palace resort in Cancun, Mexico, where the couple had been vacationing with their two children.

At first, she was believed to be a yet another case of drug-related gang warfare plaguing Mexico, but Mexican authorities are now saying "The husband seems responsible." Eyewitnesses told police they saw the couple arguing. Monica went missing the next day.

Redman left Survivor in 2004 and was one of the creators of MTV's hit car makeover show Pimp My Ride. He is now being detained while he is under investigation for choking his wife.

A close family friend of the Redmans' broke down in tears at the family's Los Angeles restaurant when she learned that Monica had been found dead and her TV producer husband is the main suspect.
