Donald Trump is at it again, this time going to expensive lengths to keep Huffington Post founder, Arianna Huffington out of his building. INSIDE EDITION caught with Arianna Huffington to ask about the feud.
Donald Trump's locked in another feud, this time with Arianna Huffington, founder of The Huffington Post.
The feud erupted this week when Trump called her "...Unattractive both inside and out" on Twitter.
Now the real estate mogul told the New York Post he deliberately raised the rent to keep Huffington out of his building.
According to Trump, Huffington wanted to move into an apartment at Trump's luxury Park Avenue Tower. The exclusive building boasts spectacular views of Central Park. But Trump said he didn't want her living in his building, so he raised the rent to $100,000 a month to keep her from moving in.
Trump said, "I didn't want her in the building. She balked at the price."
Trump said the Huffington Post's coverage of him has been unfair. "The trash they write about me is not reporting. There are so many inaccuracies about me on her site," he said.
INSIDE EDITION's Lisa Guerrero caught up with Arianna at the Republican Convention in Tampa, Florida, where her website is offering a quiet spot amidst the noise so that delegates can relax and meditate.
Guerrero asked, "Do you have any response at all to what he said?"
Arianna replied, "No. No. That's part of the great things about learning to reduce stress during the day, that you're not as reactive."
Guerrero joked, "Maybe he just needs a massage."
