A Young Girl In A Wheelchair Frisked By TSA

A three-year-old in a wheelchair on her way to Disney World sobbed as TSA agents told her she's about to get a pat-down. She was so upset she even changed her mind about every child's dream vacation.

She said, "I don't wanna go to Disney World!"

Annie and Nathan Forck were at the airport in St. Louis with their three children, including daughter Lucy, who suffers from spina bifida.

"I heard one of the TSA agents say, ‘We're going to have to pat her down,’” said Annie.

Nathan said, “They said this was standard procedure for people in a wheelchair, they are going to have to pat her down.”

Lucy was especially upset because the TSA even took away her special doll, named Lamby, to X-Ray it.

Nathan said, “She was scared. She was stressed out about what is going on. ”

Lucy’s mom tried to kiss the  tears away. Lucy's sister tried to console her too. That's when Lucy makes that heartbreaking comment, “I don't wanna go to Disney World.”

Annie said, "That was upsetting because going to Disney World is such a big deal to Lucy, she is obsessed with Mickey Mouse. Everything was falling to pieces before our eyes. At that point I thought we were even going to miss our flight."

The family did get to board their flight and managed to make it to the Magic Kingdom in Orlando. Lucy posed with Mickey Mouse, Buzz Lightyear and Woody.

Annie said, “It was a dream comes true. It was a magical place for them, at least it didn't diminish that.”

The family later got an apology from the TSA which said, “TSA regrets inaccurate guidance was provided to this family during screening and offers its apology. They strive to treat all passengers with dignity and respect."
