Marine Amputee Turns Underwear Model
He's got bulging biceps and rock hard abs. Tattoos cover his chiseled frame. But this isn't your typical male model.
Alex Minsky is a hero U.S. Marine amputee who lost his right leg four years ago in Afghanistan when a roadside bomb exploded. He spent 47 days in a coma.
The 24-year-old sustained brain damage. He turned to alcohol to cope with his depression.
"I felt like my sense of purpose was lost. I didn't know what to do," he said.

Fortunately, Minsky got sober and started hitting the gym, working out four hours a day. That's where he had a chance encounter with a photographer.
Minsky recalled, "I was just doing my thing, working out with intensity, getting all sweaty and musclely. He stopped me and said, 'Excuse me, have you ever modeled before?'"
Now, his career is taking off. But it isn't just about showing off his chiseled body. It's about proving that you can overcome anything.
