Why Did George Zimmerman Allegedly Snap?

INSIDE EDITION reports on what may have led to George Zimmerman's latest arrest.

Did George Zimmerman allegedly snap because his girlfriend lied about being pregnant?

That's what his brother, Robert seems to be saying today.

"GZ/others were led 2 believe 4 weeks that (Samantha) Scheibe was pregnant," Robert Zimmerman tweeted. "Ppl have snapped when lies might b exposed."

A source close to Samantha told INSIDE EDITION that she was pregnant but that she suffered a miscarriage.

So what is the truth?

Erik Sandoval is a reporter for WKMG-TV in Orlando. He spoke exclusively with Samantha and her mom.

Sandoval told INSIDE EDITION's Diane McInerney, "I asked Samantha's mom, 'Is she pregnant?' and she gave me was a laugh and a no comment."

McInerney asked Sandoval, "What was life like for Samantha with George Zimmerman?"

"One minute he'll be all lovely dovey, the next he would be very, very depressed. He would sleep for days. He wouldn't come out. There was one moment when he put a gun in his mouth and threatened to kill himself," said Sandoval.

And could there be a sextape?

According to Sandoval, Samantha says she and Zimmerman made a naughty video together and that he threatened to make it public.

Sandoval explained, "A still image from a video and sent to Samantha's daughter with the message: 'Ask mommy about this.' They didnt' know what to make of it. They saw it as a threat from George

A Scheibe family source told INSIDE EDITION, "He's lost his mind at this point and he needs to be stopped."

A prosecutor said in court, "They had discussed breaking up. He's also has mentioned suicide in the recent past."

Zimmerman's life seems to be spiraling out of control. In court documents he claims that he's homeless and unemployed. He also claims that he's $2.5 million in debt and has just $144 cash to his name.

In one photo you can see Zimmerman's belongings being removed from the home he shared with Samantha. He's been ordered to have zero contact with her.

HLN's Nancy Grace told INSIDE EDITION, "When I see someone get off, like George Zimmerman did with the Trayvon Martin shooting, I fully expect them to commit another offense. As I always say, when you don't know a horse, look at it's track record. I think George Zimmerman's track record speaks for itself."
