There is unprecedented drama at the trial of Blade Runner, Oscar Pistorius.

The prosecutor questioned Pistorius about inconsistencies in his story as he asked, “I think that you’re trying to cover up for lies. Why are you changing your evidence?”

Pistorious replied, “It was a mistake on my behalf.”

The judge intervened and told Pistorious, “It’s important that you should be all here when you are in the witness box. You understand that?”

“I do, my lady,” said Pistorius.

The judge continued, “So if you are tired and the reason you're making all these mistakes is because you're tired, you must say so.”

Pistorius got emotional when the prosecutor wanted details about the position of a fan in his bedroom the night Reeva Steenkamp was killed. When asked why the question made him emotional, Pistorious responded, “Because this is the night I lost the person I cared about. I don't know how people don't understand that.”

The Olympic sprinter claims he shot Steenkamp, mistaking her for an intruder in his bathroom. But the prosecutor said Steenkamp and Pistorius were, in fact, arguing when he fired. The prosecutor said, "She was talking to you. She was standing right in front of the toilet door talking to you when you shot her. She wasn't scared of an intruder, she was scared of you."

"That's not true, my lady," Pistorious said.

As Pistorius left court Friday after three days of grueling cross-examination, a fan gave him flowers and a peck on the cheek.
