Slender Man Stabbing Suspects Mugshots Released, As Victim Walks In Hospital

More details surface on the 12-year-old Slender Man stabbing suspects as the victim of 19 stab wounds begins to walk from her hospital bed. INSIDE EDITION reports.

The Slender Man victim is back on her feet. Her anguished parents say the 12-year-old is recovering in a Wisconsin hospital from her 19 stab wounds.

"She has been able to walk the halls of the hospital with her dad," the family says in a statement. "No machine, no tubes. She has been out of bed watching TV in her wheelchair as well. She still gets a little ill when she eats. She also gets overwhelmed very easily."

The family has asked that her name not be revealed, but video of the victim has surfaced. She loves animals and cradles a cat in a YouTube video.

Cops have now released mugshots of the accused attackers. It's hard to believe these two bespectacled 12-year-olds, Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier, are charged with stabbing their friend as a sacrifice to the mythical online creature Slender Man.

In a video she posted online, Anissa Weier sings. And Morgan Geyser goofs around with soap suds on her face, and poses with a kitten.

Meanwhile, the guy who made up the character Slender Man says he was inspired by Stephen King, the bestselling author who has created a long line of monstrous villains like Pennywise the clown from the book It and Randall Flagg from The Stand.

The Slender Man creator said in a statment, "I am deeply saddened by the tragedy in Wisconsin and my heart goes out to the families of those affected by this terrible act." [Source: Eric Knudsen, Slender Man creator]
