Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift In War of Words Over VMA Nominations

The two singers exchanged heated words after Nicki Minaj complained on Twitter that she had been snubbed in the nominations.

It's Taylor Swift versus Nicki Minaj as the pop singer entered in a war of words with the rap star.

Minaj felt snubbed by the MTV Video Music Award nominations. The video for Swift’s song "Bad Blood" was nominated for video of the year, while Minaj’s "Anaconda" was overlooked.

Minaj reacted to the slight by posting on Twitter.

Swift, who apparently took Minaj’s tweet personally, fired back.

@NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..

Minaj then responded:

Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn't say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this. @taylorswift13

Swift then attempted to clear the air.

@NICKIMINAJ If I win, please come up with me!! You're invited to any stage I'm ever on.
