The man went into the salon on Sunday to get his nails done before pulling out a sawed-off shotgun, police said. He then allegedly rummaged through drawers and took cash from the business.
A manicurist told CBS News: “He point the gun at her and asked her to give him money.”
Philadelphia Police Captain Malachi Jones added: “It’s pretty nervy to sit into a nail salon and actually get a manicure and then produce a gun and announce a robbery. And he was very serious about what he was doing.”
Surveillance video captured the alleged robbery and was released by the police. No one was injured.
