Cops: Burglar Gets Stuck in Pizza Oven Vent for 11 Hours
A burglar was stuck in a pizza vent for 11 hours.
In what might be the most interesting pizza topping never wanted, a man with a history of breaking and entering convictions found himself stuck in a pizza oven vent during his latest alleged break in, according to police.
The 32-year-old suspect, who is currently on parole, climbed on the roof of a Cracker Barrel pizza store in Oakland, Michigan. He removed the oven’s vent cap to try and go down the shaft to enter the store that way, according to police.
However, the plan was foiled when he got stuck between the roof and the floor and the fire department was called to rescue him.
He was then arrested and taken to a hospital where he was treated for dehydration and minor injuries.
Formal charges are still pending, according to reports.
