Omar Mateen Once Caught on Hidden Camera for 2012 Documentary on BP Oil Spill
The gunman who killed 49 people at Pulse nightclub was once filmed in a documentary on the BP oil spill.
Rare footage of Orlando nightclub gunman Omar Mateen has surfaced, in which the monster who slaughtered 49 people in Sunday morning's attack runs his mouth while working as a security guard.
Mateen was caught on hidden camera for the 2012 documentary, The Big Fix, about the notorious 2010 BP oil spill and he can be heard blasting the cleanup of the Gulf Coast.
“No one gives a s*** here,” he said in the film. Everybody's just out to get paid. They're like hoping for more oil to come out and more people to complain so they'll have jobs. They want more disaster to happen.”
The security company he worked for, G4S, has confirmed to CBS News that the man in the film is Mateen.
Mateen had worked for the company since 2007.
According to The Guardian, G4S said they received only one complaint about Mateen in the nine years he was an employee.
The company said they knew he was once investigated by the FBI but never made him undergo psychological re-evaluation.
