Natalie Portman's 'Jackie' Is Spot-On as Trailer for New Biopic Debuts
Little is said during the nearly two-minute trailer, but Natalie Portman appears to nail the role with little dialogue.
The trailer for the highly anticipated Jackie Kennedy biopic, Jackie, dropped Wednesday, offering a glimpse into one of the most talked about films of the year.
Little is said during the nearly two-minute trailer, but Natalie Portman needs little dialogue to convey emotions the First Lady likely felt after the assassination of her husband, President John F. Kennedy.
"People like to believe in fairy tales. Don't let it be forgot that for one brief, shining moment, there was Camelot,” she says as the original cast recording of Camelot — Jackie’s favorite — swells in the background.
“There won't be another Camelot, not another Camelot.”
Jackie opens in limited theaters this December.
