Bill O'Reilly Questions Megyn Kelly's 'Loyalty' After She Says Roger Ailes Made Fox News 'Look Bad'
She said she consulted with News Corp boss Rupert Murdoch about what she would write about Ailes in her book.
Megyn Kelly has ramped up her attacks on former boss Roger Ailes while promoting her new book, much to the chagrin of colleague Bill O'Reilly, who again blasted Kelly Tuesday night and questioned her "loyalty."
Kelly told CBS This Morning Wednesday that Ailes, whom she accuses of sexual misconduct in her book Settle For More, tarnished Fox News as a result of the scandal.
She was asked by the hosts if her new book makes the company look bad, she replied saying: "I believe Roger Ailes made the company look bad."
Kelly claims that she was sexually harassed by Ailes. Ailes “categorically denies” the allegations.
The Kelly File host appeared a day after her colleague Bill O’Reilly was on the same show and lashed out about her book, saying: “I'm not interested in litigating something that is finished that makes my network look bad, okay? I’m not interested in making my network look bad at all. That doesn't interest me one bit.”
Kelly responded to O’Reilly’s comments Wednesday saying she consulted with News Corp honcho Rupert Murdoch, asking him whether she should include the Ailes allegations in the book. Murdoch and his team gave her the go ahead to do it.
On Tuesday night, O'Reilly was still fuming about Kelly’s book on his show.
"I’ve had enough of this. It's a good place to work. Here's the deal — if you don't like what's happening in the work place, go to human resources or leave, I’ve done that,” he said on The O’Reilly Factor. “And then take the action you need to take afterwards. There are labor laws. Factor tip of the day — loyalty is good!"
