The President picked the University of Kansas to win for the second year in a row.
While some Republicans have been critical of President Obama appearing on ESPN, he made a point of drawing the nation's attention to the disaster in Japan.
"Go to usaid.org to help the people devastated in Japan. It will list a range of charities that you can donate money to. I think it is a great gesture as you're filling out your brackets," said President Obama.
