Teen Spies on Best Friend's First Date Thanks to Cheesy Disguise
"I burst out laughing. What else can you do in that situation?" said 19-year-old Dawsyn Eubanks, who said she's not surprised by her friend's prank.
Seeing is believing for this teen, who decided to watch her best friend’s first date rather than wait to get the details.
Dawsyn Eubanks, a 19-year-old actress from Texas, said she couldn’t help but laugh when her best friend of four years, Georgia Hoyer, showed up during a first date in a cheesy disguise.
“I burst out laughing,” Eubanks told InsideEdition.com. “What else can you do in that situation?”
The pair went viral last week after they posted screenshots of their text conversation online. Hoyer had asked Eubanks, “Why aren’t you eating your food?” from a few tables behind.
Hoyer even wore a false mustache, along with sunglasses and a dark sweatshirt with the hood pulled over her head.

“When she did this, it wasn’t a total surprise because that’s our personalities,” Eubanks said. “We have an odd sense of humor.”
She explained Hoyer had called her earlier and asked if she wanted to hang out. But Eubanks responded that she couldn’t since she was on a date.
Five minutes later, armed with the tacky costume, Hoyer showed up at the same Mexican restaurant Eubanks was dining with her date.
“I guess at that moment, I wasn’t eating and that’s when she texted me,” Eubanks said.
She immediately burst out laughing, and reluctantly told her date about her friend at the table a couple of feet away.

“He thought it was funny,” Eubanks said, “unless he’s lying and he thinks it’s weird.”
Either way, Eubanks is crossing her fingers to score a second date, and if Hoyer wants to come, she said her friend is definitely invited.
“Georgia and I have a strong friendship and I’m lucky to have her as a best friend,” she said.
