The host of "So You Think You Can Dance" called Tom George, a popular Italian eatery, "the most disgusting restaurant, terribly run."

“Avoid at all costs,” she said in the Twitter rant on Sunday. "Worst food! As for the manager?????? Moron!!!!!"

She was so angry she refused to leave a tip.

The restaurant is an upscale downtown L.A. eatery that's been open for just a few months. It has already received great reviews and high ratings from customers.

"This isn't fair. She's using her power to take down my family," J. Vasko-Bezenek, the waiter who served the TV personality and her three companions, told Inside Edition.

He said they ordered burgers, truffle fries, salads and beef tartare.

After Deeley complained, the manager comped a big chunk of the bill, bringing the bill from $200 dollars down to $83.74.

Deeley was still irate. "She grabbed the bill and she said, ‘This is disgraceful. I shouldn't have to pay for any of this.’”

Then came the onslaught of tweets. To some, her Twitter rant seemed over-the-top.

The waiter responded, posting the receipt, circling where the tip should have been. “After we got the bill, it showed that I didn't have a tip, I thought this isn't fair," said the waiter.

The manager told Inside Edition, “She called me a moron. What did I do except apologize and try to invite her back in?’” he said.

Inside Edition's Jim Moret taste-tested the restaurant's cuisine. "These are fantastic. These are great," he said of the fries. As for the burger, he said, "perfect burger."
