Couple Gets Married During The New York Marathon

One couple running in the New York Marathon decided to make it more memorable by getting married while they ran the 26-mile race. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
It was an extraordinary moment at the New York Marathon.
A couple got married, right in the middle of the race, and they never stopped running!
"I do, and then I'll meet you at the finish line," said Raymond Donaldson.
Mary and Raymond Donaldson, from Amarillo, Texas, met while running. So naturally they wanted to tie the knot while running.
They dressed the part but waited until mile 22 of the 26-mile race to do the deed. It almost didn't happen because Raymond cramped up right before the ceremony.
"She actually said, she goes, ‘Are you doing this because you don't want to get married?'" said Raymond.
They kept up the pace as they exchanged vows. Luckily, their minister is also a marathoner. In fact their entire wedding party was running.
"They're all faster than we are," said Raymond.
INSIDE EDITION caught up with the newlyweds in Times Square where they slowed down just long enough to celebrate with family and friends at Havana Central.
This runaway bride and groom are clearly in it for the long haul.
