Police are now calling Dale Smith their "primary suspect" in the disappearance of his ex-fiancée, Michelle Parker. Parker disappeared the day their appearance on The People's Court aired. INSIDE EDITION has more.
Police have announced that Michelle Parker's former fiancé, Dale Smith, is now the primary suspect in her disappearance.
"We are officially naming Dale Smith, the ex-fiancé, as the primary suspect in the disappearance of Michelle Parker," said Orlando Police Chief Paul Rooney at a press conference.
It was revealed during their People's Court appearance that Smith liked to hang out at sci-fi conventions dressed in costumes.
When Smith and Parker squared off in the TV courtroom, Smith spoke about his fondness for costume hijinks.
"I dress up in Stormtrooper costumes," he said.
Judge Marilyn Milian couldn't believe what she was hearing, and asked to see pictures!
The Today show obtained photos of Smith dressed as Captain America, G.I. Joe, and Luke Skywalker.
Both Smith and his then-fiancée attended DragonCon in Atlanta last year, where fans go dressed as their favorite sci-fi, comic book, and fantasy characters, like RoboCop or Batman.
Now Smith has taken on the role of primary suspect in Parker's disappearance. She has not been seen since the day their People's Court episode aired.
