The Oscar® Nominations Are In!

INSIDE EDITION has all the info and talks to the stars about the Oscar® nominations.

Jonah Hill can't stop smiling.

He's just been nominated for Best Supporting Actor and no-one is more surprised than he.

INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret caught up with Hill after he got the nod for Moneyball.

"I am just so appreciative that for my second drama that I get nominated for an Academy Award®," Hill said.

Jessica Chastain heard the news that she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for The Help while she was at a fashion show in Paris with Cameron Diaz.

INSIDE EDITION caught up with another nominee. Well, sort of. Uggie, the dog from the black and white silent movie The Artist.

He was excited because The Artist got 10 nominations including one for Best Picture.

Film critic Tom O'Neil told INSIDE EDITION, "This is The Artist's year. 84 years after Hollywood picked a silent film for its first Best Picture, it looks like another will win."

Additionally, it looks like a battle of the hunks, a rematch for Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

Once again, George Clooney received a nod in front of and behind the camera, starring in The Descendants and co-writing The Ides of March.

Pitt was nominated for Best Actor for Moneyball and also produced two of the Best Film nominees: Moneyball and The Tree of Life.

An ecstatic Pitt called the Today show on Tuesday morning and the whole cast congratulated Pitt on his big nomination.

Meryl Streep was nominated for Best Actress for The Iron Lady, it's her 17th Oscar® nomination. The most for any actor, ever.

However, where was Leonardo Dicaprio? His movie J. Edgar was passed over and did not get a single nomination.

Madonna was also snubbed. She won the Golden Globe for Best Song for the movie W.E., which she wrote and directed, but did not get an Oscar® nomination.

INSIDE EDITION caught up with Madonna at the New York premiere of W.E. and it sounds like her feud with Elton John is forgotten, kind of.

"To tell you the truth I didn't even know about it until a couple days afterwords because I do live in a bubble and I was rehearsing for the Super Bowl." said Madonna.
