Whitney Houston's Final Hours

INSIDE EDITION has learned how Whitney Houston spent her final hours before her tragic death.

The revelations of how Whitney Houston spent her final hours can finally be told. What she did in those last few hours of life are all contained in a just-released Los Angeles Coroner's report.

Houston kept her own mini drug store on a table in a corner of the living room in her suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where the coroner found "multiple bottles of prescription medications," all prescribed to Houston. On top of the mini-bar was an "open bottle of champagne."

Along the west wall, were three tables from room service filled with plates of food, including a hamburger and turkey sandwich. There was also an "open can of beer." In the middle of it all was every woman's most important possession - Houston's purse, found on the couch.

In the bathroom, where Houston took her last breaths, were the most disturbing discoveries of all. On the counter was a small spoon with a white crystal like substance, presumably cocaine and a rolled up piece of paper.

Also on the bathroom counter, yet another "bottle of prescription medications and a ripped open small plastic bag" as well as an "ashtray filled with multiple cigarette butts." In the top drawer, "remnants of a white powdery substance and a portable mirror."

The coroner's report says the last time Houston was seen alive was between 2:45 and 3:00 p.m. That's when her assistant, Mary Jones, left to go shopping at Neiman Marcus down the block from the Beverly Hilton. Before she left she suggested that Houston "go take a bath."

At 3:36 p.m., Jones returned to the room and found Houston lying face-down in the bathtub filled with 12 inches of water.

The desperate attempts to revive Houston are detailed in the coroner's report. Paramedics pushed the couch out on to the patio, to make room for Houston's body. That's where first aid was administered, without success.

Houston's mom Cissy was reportedly "devastated" and "inconsolable" when she learned what was revealed in the coroner's report.
