New Reality Special Focuses on Pee-Wee Cheerleaders
A new special called, Cheer Perfection, focuses about competative mothers placing their kids in a boot camp-like cheerleading school. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
It's boot camp for pee-wee cheerleaders.
Little girls getting some no-nonsense lessons in how to be great at tumbling and twirling.
"What are you crying about? We haven't even started," screamed their coach, Alisha Dunlap.
And the moms are just fine with the teacher's tough-love treatment.
"She can yell at my kid, get in her face," said one mother.
Another said, "We're not spending all this money to lose."
These kids and their mothers are featured in a TLC one-hour special, Cheer Perfection.
The program includes this showdown between two of the moms.
The show is shot at a cheerleader school in Arkansas run by hard-driving Alisha Dunlap. She's a cheerleader version of the strict disciplinarian Abby Lee Miller from Dance Moms.
"The moms that come here like to win more than I do," said Dunlap.
Maybe they could call Dunlap's establishment "The mother of all cheerleading schools."
