Reports have surfaced that Robert Pattinson was ready to propose to Kristen Stewart right before news broke that she was cheating on him with a married man. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.
A "heartbroken and angry" Robert Pattinson was getting ready to propose marriage to Kristen Stewart when those damning photos surfaced of her cheating on him.
A close friend told US Weekly magazine that 26-year-old Pattinson wanted to "spend the rest of his life with her."
US Weekly Senior Editor, Ian Drew told INSIDE EDITION, "Rob lost the woman he thought he was going to spend the rest of his life with. He's deeply in love with her and that's what makes this so much harder."
A moving van was spotted carting Pattinson's things out of the spectacular Los Angeles home he shared with Kristen Stewart before her fling with Rupert Sanders, director of her film Snow White and the Huntsman.
Hunky Pattinson recently bought the home for just over $6 million only last September.
Pattinson is said to be in seclusion after reportedly telling Stewart in a phone conversation, "You humiliated me!"
He is also said to be "appalled and horrified" at the way Stewart went public with that jaw-dropping apology she made in which she said, "I love him, I love him. I'm so sorry!"
"She only had to call two people: me and Liberty," Pattinson was quoted as telling a friend. Of course, he's referring to Liberty Ross, the wife of the man Kristen Stewart was caught making out with.
Adding insult to injury, in the photos, Stewart can be seen clutching a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap while she's making out with her married lover. Pattinson is photographed wearing a Dodgers hat all the time.
And we're learning more about the day Stewart was caught making out with Rupert Sanders. The morning of July 17th Stewart was seen working out at a gym in Santa Monica. Then, according to the photographer who was tailing her, she met Sanders in a parking lot behind the gym.
"Kristen and Rupert met in a very seedy area inside a parking lot where they started making out right away. Then they drove all over the city looking for more and more secluded spots," said Drew.
When they found this scenic lover's lane they thought they'd found the perfect location. Little did they know their entire romantic rendevous was being caught on camera.
Drew said, "They were making out all over each other in various suggestive positions. When people would walk by they would separate and then come back together."
After their romantic rendezvous, Stewart dropped Sanders off in an exclusive enclave in Los Angeles about three blocks from where he lives with his wife and two children.
"She ended up giving him a ride home, but not dropping him off in front of the house, actually several blocks away so he could walk home and not be discovered by his wife and family," said Drew.
While fans of the Twilight saga continue heaping a mountain of abuse on Stewart, the 22-year-old star—Hollywood's highest paid actress—is getting support from none other than Lady Gaga, who is blaming the paparazzi.
Yup, she's blaming the papparrazzi who took the pictures, tweeting: ''Geez this Kirstew Rob stuff is brutal. Makes me sad the way press acts. Hope they're ok."
So can Stewart's relationship with Robert Pattinson be saved? INSIDE EDITION asked psychologist Wendy Walsh.
Walsh said, "It is possible to repair a relationship after something like this, something like an affair. But it takes a lot of work and takes a long time. Both parties have to be willing to forgive and understand."
