Buckingham Palace has confirmed, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate are expecting their first child. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

Headlines around the world heralded the breaking news that Prince William and Kate are expecting their first child, the future heir to the throne of England.
Barbara Walters said on The View, "The British throne is secure."
The official announcement came down on Will and Kate's website at exactly 11:00 a.m. East Coast time: "Their Royal highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby. "
The palace says the Queen is "delighted."
Royal expert Victoria Arbiter told INSIDE EDITION, "As far as royal news goes, this story is huge. Pretty much since William and Kate said 'I do,' everyone has been waiting for this announcement."
In minutes, "Kate Middleton" and "#RoyalBaby" became the top trending topics on Twitter. The Royal pregnancy even came up at the White House press briefing today. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said, "On behalf of everyone here at the White House, beginning with the president and the first lady, we extend our congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge."
Kate is already experiencing the first medical drama of her pregnancy, which is in its very early stages. Her doctor admitted her to King Edward VII Hospital in London Monday afternoon for "hyperemesis gravidarum" or acute morning sickness.
Kate reportedly became very ill over the weekend at her parents home where she and William were spending a few days. She couldn't keep any food or water down. A concerned William drove her himself to the hospital.
Dr. Jennifer Ashton, ABC Senior Medical Contributor told INSIDE EDITION, "Potentially, this is a very serious obstetric condition affecting both the mother as well as the fetus, and it can cause anything from excessive weight loss to dehydration."
Brace yourself, Kate. The condition is sometimes associated with twins.
Dr. Ashton said, "As an obstetrician and someone who's treated many, many women with hyperemesis, multiples or twins is one of the first things that comes to mind."
Kate isn't the only famous person to suffer from the condition. Maria Shriver just tweeted: "Kate has hyperemesis. Had that with my last child. Not fun at all. Hang in there, Kate."
Kate's last public appearance was just five days ago, when she actually played field hockey at her college alma mater in high heeled boots.
Pregnancy style expert Rosie Pope told INSIDE EDITION,"I don't think she's going to stray from her style. I think that's going to be the key to her maternity style, is that she still looks like Kate. She still has those beautiful structured dresses. She's very elegant, very modest."
Rumors about a royal pregnancy have been at fever pitch in recent weeks as Kate started wearing looser clothing and holding her hands, just so, in front of her belly. She also used a glass of water instead of wine during a toast at a banquet in Singapore last September.
There was also that new haircut and speculation that she got bangs to compliment a fuller face.
The baby will be third in line to the throne, behind Prince Charles and William. That bumps party-hearty Prince Harry down to fourth.
Arbiter said, "There have been recent changes to the laws of succession. Should they have a boy or a girl first, that child would be the rightful heir to the throne."
