Will Ben Affleck Run For Senate?

Ben Affleck didn't deny speculation that he might make a run for Senate now that John Kerry of Massachusetts has been named Secretary of State. INSIDE EDITION has the details.

There's growing speculation that Affleck is considering running for the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts, now that President Obama has nominated Senator John Kerry as Secretary of State.
"It's a perfect choice," said President Obama.
Affleck did not deny the possibilty during a recent interview on Face The Nation.
"One never knows. I'm not one to get into conjecture," said Affleck. "I do have a great fondness and admiration for the political process in this country. It's a big deal for me to come down here and be on your show that I've watched so much, but I'm not going to get into speculation about my political future."
The Argo director is politically active and recently testified before the House Armed Services Committee.
He faces tough competition. Ted Kennedy Jr., son of late Senator Edward Kennedy is expected to throw his hat into the ring.
