She's winning awards for her performance in Les Miserables, but the legions of people mocking Anne Hathaway seems to keep growing. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
A viral video has everyone talking. It's a parody of Anne Hathaway's highly-praised performance in the hit movie Les Miserables. She's already won a Golden Globe and a SAG award for her portrayal of the dying young prostitute. Now, she's the front-runner for the Best Supporting actress Oscar®.
The hilarious parody was made for just $100, and stars 27-year-old Anne Hathaway look-a-like Emma Fitzpatrick.
The video has original lyrics of her song from Les Miserables swapped out for lyrics like: "I lost half my body weight and they never did a wide shot. And I coughed and weezed and cried. I had to blow my nose, I did it all in one take."
Anne is taking heat for what some say was her "fake" or "over-the-top" reaction to winning all those awards. There's even a Facebook page called "I hate Anne Hathaway" and thedailybeast article headlined "Everyone Hates Anne Hathaway."
Fiztpatrick said, "I think when you're in the limelight like that, anytime you do something great, people are going to have say good and bad things to say about you."
As for the Anne Hathaway spoof, Emma Fitzpatrick hopes Anne gets a chance to see it.
"I hope she would like it. Hopefully she won't take it personally," said Fitzpatrick.
