A teacher has been fired after she was caught on tape beating a 13-year-old student. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
A hard-to-believe video of a teacher attacking a 13-year-old student at a high school in Houston is shocking the nation. She dragged, punched, and wailed at him with her foot.
The student, Isaiah Reagins, says he suffered a black eye and other bruises in the attack.
INSIDE EDITION spoke with mom, Alesha Johnson, from her home in Houston, asking her what she thinks when she looks at that video.
"I cry, because it's horrifying," said Alesha.
The video showed the gym teacher, Sherri Davis looming menacingly over the student, who cowers in fear. It was shot on a cell phone by another classmate in April. Students could be heard screaming in the background, but some were also laughing.
The teacher was fired.
School spokesperson Sue Davis said, "After seeing that video, there was no doubt in anybody's mind that that teacher was going to be fired."
