Road Rage Driver Caught On Dashcam
Drivers across the country are flying into extreme cases of road rage, and many of them are being caught on camera. INSIDE EDITION has more.
It's one of the most extreme cases of road rage ever.
Austin Ho, a 21-year-old art student, installed a dash board camera in his car, but he never expected to capture the nightmare of a motorist with Illinois license plates cutting other drivers off on Los Angeles' 10 and 110 freeways.
"I noticed this gold car weaving in and out of traffic. I made a mental note in my head that this was a guy I needed to stay away from," said Ho. The next thing you know, he pulled up next to me and my window was open. He looked over at me and started yelling some racist comments."
The raging driver actually hung out of his window screaming. He even started throwing objects including a soda can.
"The scariest part was when he was trying to ram my car, because if he were to ram my car, that would force me to get out of my car, causing him to confront me," he said.
Dash board cameras are also growing in popularity all over the world, recording everything from fights to car crashes. They even recorded that historic meteor shower in Russia in February.
The out-of-control motorist in Los Angeles has not been publicly identified. The incident went on for minutes and the road rage took a critical turn when the driver in front stopped his car in the middle of the freeway during rush hour and decided to bring the confrontation face-to-face. When he returned to his vehicle, he sped away, nearly causing another accident.
