Arrest Warrant Issued for Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan is in hot water after missing a court date in Los Angeles. Lohan spent the week partying at the Cannes Film Festival and was stranded after she says someone stole her passport the day before she was due in court. INSIDE EDITION has more.

The troubled starlet was a no-show at a mandatory court appearance in Beverly Hills on Thursday. The angry judge has issued a bench warrant for her arrest.

So where is Lohan? She's stuck in France because, she claims, her passport was stolen at the Cannes Film Festival.

The notorious bad girl has been spotted all over the Cannes party scene. She was mobbed by photographers at one star-studded event and she took a nasty spill during another night of partying.

The judge showed zero sympathy for Lohan's passport debacle. She immediately issued the arrest warrant and set Lohan's bail at $100,000. The judge also ordered Lohan to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet and undergo random drug testing at least once a week. INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret sat next to Lohan's father Michael in the courtroom and he actually seemed delighted by the judge's stern ruling.

"We consider today a win," said lawyer Lisa Bloom, who is representing the actress's estranged father.

"Michael, as a concerned father, has seen what he feels to be Lindsay's deterioration over the last weeks and months and he used this opportunity to ask the court for stricter controls upon Lindsay," Bloom told reporters.

RadarOnline reports Lindsay sent a desperate e-mail begging friends and colleges to get her back to Los Angeles in time for court, to no avail:

"I need my friends, and people I work with to PLEASE help me get on a private plane tomorrow by at least 5pm. This is such a horrible thing that's happened to me and extremely unfortunate. My passports been stolen and the day before my court hearing. I would never ask such a thing, but if there's anything that I could ever ask of anyone, it would be to help me with this. I must get back on a jet to LA tomorrow. If anyone has planes leaving Nice/Cannes at any time after 11am when I get my passport, please, please, let me know if you can help me. God bless All my love Thank you, Lindsay Lohan"

The fallen star didn't look too worried about the courtroom showdown.  Just hours before she was due in court the actress hit the Cannes nightlife again, wearing black thigh-high stockings, short shorts and a black cap. She reportedly spent the night "dancing" and "partying."  Lohan was also said to be flirting with actor Dominic Cooper who just split from his long time girlfriend, Lindsay's Mean Girls co-star Amanda Seyfried.

It could be her last night of freedom before she comes home to face the law.

While Lohan was in Cannes, she missed a total of three of her court-mandated alcohol education classes.
